The Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Neros Pharmaceuticals, Prof. Poly Emenike, marked his 70th birthday in grand style over the weekend with the public presentation of seven newly authored books in Lagos. The event, attended by distinguished personalities from across Nigeria, showcased the life, achievements, and intellectual depth of a man widely regarded as one of the nation’s most influential industrialists and polymaths.

Seven New Works Reflecting a Life of Scholarship
The newly unveiled books span themes of entrepreneurship, self-development, cultural preservation, discipline, and multi-talented mastery. The titles include:

Dignitaries Honour a Distinguished Nigerian Polymath
The ceremony drew high-level guests, including the Anambra State Governor, Prof. Charles Chukwuma Soludo, CFR, represented by Barr. Leo Chiegboka; Abia State Governor, Dr. Alex Otti; and Senator Victor Umeh. Captains of industry, scholars, pharmacists, cultural leaders, and business executives also graced the event.

Speakers took turns celebrating the life of Prof. Emenike, recalling his remarkable rise from humble beginnings in Nanka, Anambra State, to becoming a trailblazer in Nigeria’s pharmaceutical industry. They described him as a visionary whose contributions continue to expand opportunities for young Nigerians.
Tributes to a Man of Enterprise, Knowledge, and Purpose
Delivering the message of the Anambra State Governor, Barr. Chiegboka congratulated the septuagenarian, noting that his 70th birthday symbolizes “a lifetime of consistent pursuit of knowledge, excellence, and entrepreneurial leadership.”
The Executive Director/CEO of the Napoleon Hill Foundation, Don Green, praised Prof. Emenike’s commitment to inspiring the next generation through writing, mentorship, and principles anchored in integrity, resilience, and faith.
Book reviewer and former Business Times Editor, Mr. Dotun Adekanmbi, hailed Emenike as “a man of many parts,” noting that the seven new books mirror decades of firsthand experience, research, and enterprise. He revealed that the author has written 25 books, with 21 already published, earning him the recognition as a Polymath, the Benjamin Franklin of Nigeria, and the Napoleon Hill of Africa.

In his remarks, Prof. Emenike expressed deep gratitude to God and to all who honoured him on his special day. He emphasized that writing remains his chosen way of giving back to society—an avenue through which he shares the wisdom and inspiration that have shaped his life’s journey.
